All AshiCajón™ have minimum three variable tones. The Conga and Tumba have the potential for five completely distinctive variable tones. Similar sound to a goat or lamb skin in some cases dependent upon the specie of wood. Although extreemly more difficult, it is possible to obtain more tones in the Quinto.AshiCajón™ sets are only sold as sets, and are to be considered "one of a kind" sets. All of the woods are specifically chosen to match only for that particular set. However, there may be some similarities between sets. This is only coincidental. All of the AshiCajón™ come with document of authenticity, originality and are numbered and signed by the designer/creator. Any custom design and built AshiCajón™ having inlay and marquetry specific to order will not be replicated if so designated by the client. Designed as a true standing Ashiko/Conga style Cajón drum, the AshiCajón™ is in a class all it's own. Design does allow for the potential to tuning of each AshiCajón™ particular sustain, decay and overtones as matching sets upon fabrication. All constructed with the use of Stiltz™ and Raventone™ heads. Now available with Lewi® Custom Tapa Volar2™ snare system. This Cajón is available in Svelte and Ample classes. AshiCajón™ is an original design Cajón drum by Lewi® Custom Cajón Drumz & Cajón Drumz, LLC.AshiCajón™ approximate measurements are:
